Florida Twin Project postdoc

A post-doctoral position is available starting July 1, 2014 on an NICHD-funded twin project on reading, behavior, and environment at the Florida State University.  This project is one of six comprising the Florida Learning Disabilities Research Center, and it includes data on school-based measures of reading achievement as well as parent and child-ratings of behavior and environment from a large, diverse twin sample of children in Florida.  This position is ideal for highly motivated individuals with an interest in working with a multidisciplinary group of faculty and graduate students.  Qualifications include a Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Psychology or another relevant field and a strong background in behavioral genetics or statistics.  Preference will be given to qualified applicants with an interest in reading achievement.  Position comes with NIH-level salary and health insurance.  Applicants should send a cover letter and CV as a single PDF file and also arrange for 3 letters of recommendation to be sent directly to Dr. Jeanette Taylor (taylor@psy.fsu.edu).
