Wendy Johnson of the University of Edinburgh was awarded the 2023 Lifetime Achievement Award. Unable to attend the 2023 meeting in Berkeley, she formally accepted her award at the 2024 meeting in Zürich, where she delivered her address, “How did this elephant get in the room? Can/should we get it out?”
